I worked quite hard on this for 3 hours....I don't have much to say about it, I wanted to write a poem that goes along with it but for now I'm too tired, so it is, as it is.
I was inspired by the Skull and Roses cover art for the Grateful Dead....and myself, funny huh? It's a somewhat self portrait of me. Done in pencil, precision ink, india ink and prisma color. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. It's really beautiful Steph. I really love how you integrated the classic Lichtenstein pop art look to your own self, and insanely accurate too. I don't know what's my favorite in this piece.... your hands or your facial expression. Just lovely.
